Lady Change has marched into my world

Opened the door wide

Left me questioning the mental struggles and possibilities hidden behind

A chance to discover

To heal and to cleanse

To view my own future through a different lens.

The fresh fruit for breakfast chosen to enliven

Set against the backdrop of the autumnal rain

dripping

down

my

window

pane

Lady Change has come to wash away the stains

The smears and smudges, the stresses, the pains.
